I just read this book over my trip to DL. There was one quote in it that stood out to me.
"Hatred seemed... to be the product of ignorance."
What do you all this about this quote?

Seems like that could be true many times... someone might come to hate someone after hearing false information, or from not understanding the circumstances.

I think hatred often comes from a dissatisfaction with self.
I think hatred can sometimes be a self defense mechanism combined with ignorance/lack of sufficient information.
